Evaluation Process
1. Initial Inquiry
The process begins with an email or phone call from the parent or caregiver. During this initial contact, you’ll share your concerns about your child’s speech, language, communication, or related skills. We’ll briefly discuss your concerns, answer any initial questions, and determine whether a comprehensive evaluation may be appropriate.
2. Scheduling the Evaluation
If an evaluation is recommended, we’ll discuss scheduling, the evaluation process, and any necessary forms or information to complete beforehand.
3. Individualized Evaluation
Your child participates in assessment activities selected specifically for their age and communication needs. Evaluations are conducted in a supportive and child-friendly manner.
4. Comprehensive Written Report and Recommendations
Following the evaluation, you’ll receive a written evaluation report summarizing assessment findings, your child's communication strengths and areas of need, and personalized recommendations.
