Jana Allen, M.S., CCC-SLP

I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology with a concentration in Education from Montclair State University before earning my master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. I hold my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), as well as Florida state licensure.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with children in a variety of settings, including Child Find - early intervention, public and private schools, hospitals, and private practice. These experiences have given me the opportunity to work with children with a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs.

As the owner of IDEAL SPEECH & LANGUAGE, I provide personalized speech and language evaluations for children, with a focus on understanding each child’s individual strengths, needs, and communication profile. As a mother of two, I understand the importance of having a clinician who listens to parents, understands their concerns, and takes the time to truly get to know their child.

At IDEAL SPEECH & LANGUAGE, my goal is to provide families with a thorough, individualized evaluations and clear information they can use to better understand their child’s communication development and determine the appropriate next steps.

Mission

IDEAL SPEECH & LANGUAGE was created to provide families with compassionate, individualized, and professional speech and language evaluations in the comfort and convenience of their own home.

Parents often have questions about their child’s communication development and may not know where to turn for answers. My goal is to provide thorough evaluations, clear explanations, and meaningful recommendations that help families better understand their child’s communication skills and determine appropriate next steps.

Approach

Parents are an important part of the evaluation process. You know your child best, and your observations and concerns provide valuable insight. Jana Allen, M.S., CCC-SLP takes the time to listen to your concerns, considers your child’s developmental history, and evaluates their communication skills.

Each evaluation is tailored to the individual child and focuses on providing a clear, understandable picture of their strengths and areas of need—not simply test scores. Results and recommendations are discussed with you so you can feel informed and confident about next steps.

IDEAL SPEECH & LANGUAGE provides in-home, in-person speech and/or language evaluations for children ages 1–10 throughout Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
